Have you already enjoyed this experience?
This tour is perfect for everyone who is interested in history and architecture! We will take you to the beautiful Santafé De Antioquia town. Along the way we will take a stop at the San Jerónimo village, which is a cute little town where you can go for a walk, grab a snack and take some pictures! After that we will head right to our main stop – the Santafé De Antioquia town.
Here you will learn a lot about its history, and discover the amazing architecture that has been built in the 16th century! One of the main highlights is the visit of the Juan Del Corral Museum. You will be able to see a collection of documents, works of colonial art, as well as ethnographic and archaeological artifacts.
Just 10 minutes away from the Santafé De Antioquia town you will visit the famous Puente de Occidente (Western Bridge), which is located over the Cauca River. The works for that bridge were projected by the famous Engineer José María Villa, who also took part in the design and construction process of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. The Western Bridge was built in the end of the 19th century and is made of wood. The bridge is a UNESCO world heritage site and definitely a must-visit place!
All of our tours are private bilingual tours that include a professional local guide who will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. We also make sure you will have enough free time to buy souvenirs, grab a snack or take breathtaking pictures.
Note: Don’t forget to take cash with you in case you want to buy goods or beverage that is not included because some shops or local restaurants may not accept credit cards.
